From whistling to buddhism
Today I had a few moments to spare and I wanted to add a "how to learn to whistle" to my blog. I recalled I once found a site that explained different ways of doing it. I first found a forum, which lead me to youtube. There I learned that something like a "fingerless whistle" exists. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=jVvBe4fikms Cool! I really want to learn that on my way to the office. But there the sheer brilliance of the internet pops up: totally unrelated but equally interesting videos. If I had the time, I think I could spend days on end on youtube alone. I ended up with this one: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=9425_kPAn74&feature=dir . A former Hong Kong Miss, now an entrepreneur and a Buddhist. She talks about the rise and fall of stock markets and the importance of happiness & charity over money and wealth. I know this stuff and try to apply it on a daily basis, but it's good to be reminded sometimes....
